Rogue Beginnings 2-(Puppy Class 2)-

As your puppy grows older you may begin to notice some changes. Your puppy no longer sits when you ask, or may not “hear” you when you call. This is because your puppy is entering adolescence. You may no longer be the most important thing in your puppy’s world as he begins to notice squirrels, dogs, pine cones, interesting smells or anything else that may capture his attention. Maintaining your dog’s socialization and training through adolescence can be tricky if you don’t know what to expect and how to deal with it. Adolescence is the time when everything you taught your dog starts to fall apart, unless you make rigorous efforts to ensure your dog maintains stability until adulthood. This is a critical time for your dog’s development. This is why we developed many of our training classes. For more information on Adolescence please read: http://dogtime.com/dog-health/general/1498-puppy-adolescence-dunbar
